LMP USB Type-C to

USB-C (via USB 3.1 protocol) to HDMI 1.4, USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0), and USB-C (Power Delivery) adapter for connecting and transmitting audio/video signals, data, and power from the MacBook 12" with USB-C port.

The HDMI port supports HDMI 1.4 and resolutions up to 1080p as well as UHD 4K, which can be displayed on an external monitor, projector, or TV, while the audio signal is transmitted in digital multi-channel quality. Data can be transferred via USB 3.0 at speeds of up to 5 Gbps. The USB-C port allows connected devices, such as an external USB hard drive, to be powered while simultaneously charging the MacBook 12" (Power Delivery).

Important note: Disconnecting the power (PD) from an external power supply via the LMP USB-C Multiport Adapter may cause a sudden interruption of power to connected devices (e.g., an external USB hard drive). This may result in connected devices being unmounted or the connection being temporarily interrupted (the connection will automatically restore after 2-3 seconds). This can lead to loss of unsaved data. Therefore, we strongly recommend saving all data and/or removing a connected device before unplugging the Power Delivery.

Resolutions depend on the native resolutions of the display. Resolutions between native screen resolutions may not be displayed. Do not unplug the power during use. Disconnect all connected devices before unplugging the power or host connection. Not compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive. The HDMI port does not support the use of another AV adapter (e.g., HDMI to DVI adapter).
