Curse of the Moon 2 combines classic 2D action with a dark 8-bit aesthetic and modern gameplay. The multiple scenario structure from the previous title returns with an epic new story personally overseen by IGA (Koji Igarashi).

Players take control of Zangetsu, a swordsman from the Far East who harbors a deep disdain for the demons and the alchemists who summoned them. Zangetsu must fight his way to the demonic fortress, but he doesn't have to do it alone! Zangetsu can ally with a brand new group of characters he meets along the way and add them to the playable roster.

Three brand new playable characters appear in Curse of the Moon 2, including the exorcist Dominique. All characters from the original Curse of the Moon game are also playable! Each new character brings a variety of gameplay options, abilities, and possibilities to master the many levels of the game.

Players can also create demon hunter duos in local 2-player co-op, which is available for the first time in the series! Work together with a friend, combine the strengths of two different characters, and conquer the levels in many new and exciting ways.
