Lightyears Caravaggio Mat pendant light

Caravaggio Mat pendant lamp. The feminine lines of the shade create a dynamic interaction with the technically sophisticated, masculine construction of the suspension. Named after the baroque Italian painter famous for his dramatic representations with strong chiaroscuro contrast, this design by Cecilie Manz for the Danish manufacturer Lightyears features a dual light output (E27 socket, max. 100 W). An upper narrow light output illuminates the ceiling, while the tall silhouette of the metal shade provides direct, yet glare-free light directed downwards over the work or dining table. The Caravaggio pendant lamp by Lightyears is available in various sizes of bell shape, in matte or high-gloss finishes, with a sufficiently long textile cable (300 cm).
