The solution for your cabling problems

- 6 times thinner than conventional patch cables
- Optimal for use in racks
- 4-pair twisted
- AWG36

Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies of up to 250 MHz. They are used for signal transmission at high data rates (1 Gbps). Due to the high signal frequencies, special care must be taken during installation, especially at the connection points of the wires. The individual wire pairs for Cat6 are twisted at different rates, which further reduces susceptibility to interference compared to Cat5e. Application areas for Cat6 cables include voice and data transmission as well as multimedia and ATM networks. Even more powerful are Cat6e (500 MHz) and Cat6a (625 MHz) cables.

Slimpatch cables offer a significant advantage when cabling racks and 48-port switches.

Thanks to their extremely thin design and great flexibility, you can avoid cable chaos and maintain an organized overview.

A Wirewin Cat6 Slim Patch Cable is about 6 times thinner than a conventional patch cable and helps you restore order in your distribution cabinets.

Slimpatch cables are also very well suited for installation under PVC floors, carpets, as well as laminate or parquet floors.

They are the optimal solution for connecting IP phones to your network. Due to their short strain relief and flexibility, these cables are ideal for this application.

Despite the extremely thin design, power over Ethernet for IP phones is also possible with these cables.

Patch cable type

The cable type, describes the structure of a network cable. Fiber optic cables are suitable for distribution over longer distances (up to 80 km) and are resistant to interference. Copper cables can be used for distances up to 100 m and are cheaper to purchase.

Contact assignment

The contact assignment provides information on how the network cable can be used. An uncrossed cable can be used to connect terminals to the network, while a crossed cable can be used to connect two terminals.
