These slim patch cables are a solution for various cabling issues. Although they visually resemble flat ribbon cables, the slim patch cables meet Category 6 specifications, making them suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T/TX applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. Three slim patch cables have the same diameter as a single standard Cat5e patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a practical length print on both ends, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE). A typical application for the slim patch cables is in crowded server or network racks or cable ducts. They are also recommended for telephone panels in server areas where high port densities exist, or for connecting VoIP phones. Furthermore, the slim patch cables are ideal for transport in tight spaces, such as in laptop bags. They can also be installed under carpets or laminate flooring.
