LIBEC REC Start/Stop remote control for LANC units.

The REC-LA start/stop trigger from Libec allows you to start and stop recording on a recorder with an integrated monitor from Atomos or Blackmagic, as well as on cameras that have a LANC connection. The remote control offers the possibility to start recording while the camera is mounted on a gimbal or shoulder rig. With conventional start/stop remotes it is not possible to start recording on an Atomos recorder. This is exactly what the Libec REC-LA was designed for. REC-LA also allows you to start recording with cameras and camcorders from Sony, Canon, JVC, Panasonic (selected models). A quick start of the recording is possible, immediately by connecting the REC-LA to the LANC socket of a recorder or camera. The battery-powered REC-LA does not require a mains connection and has a long operating time. A standard CR2032 battery is used for the remote control, so it is easy to replace. When connected to equipment that has a power supply on the LANC connector, no battery is required. Easy to attach to a gimbal, rig, pan arm and a variety of mounting equipment.
