It is not uncommon for new TV models to be over-hyped by manufacturers' marketing. In the case of the G5 OLED, however, there is a suspicion that the impressive increase in performance of the RGB tandem technology is being marketed somewhat timidly so as not to push cheaper OLED TV models without this technology too far into the background...
