The special feature of the CEX is the permanently integrated half-ball, which allows for quick horizontal alignment of the mounted head – opening up new possibilities in panorama photography. With a packed size of just 56 cm, the tripod is a compact travel companion. The LS-324CEX supports a load capacity of up to 15 kg while weighing only 1.6 kg, ensuring that the tripod remains rock-solid in any position. Another specialty of the Ranger tripod is its minimum working height of 10 cm, allowing for a large working range and low-angle shooting. The maximum working height of over 152 mm is sufficient to achieve eye level when combined with the tripod head and camera. For those who need a lightweight and compact solution on the go, there is also the option to mount the camera directly onto the half-ball of the CEX using a coupling. This way, the tripod head can be left at home – for example, in combination with the PCL-60 or the RH-2L.
