Leofoto MP-180S

The Leofoto MP-180S Macro Focusing Rail is a precision linear spindle focusing unit that incorporates a camera platform with a rotating Arca quick release kit. The rail has a travel of 170mm, with each full turn of the crank providing 1.25mm of movement for precise camera positioning. The focus knob has a crank that conveniently folds flat. The rail is hollowed out to reduce weight, but still has a robust 8kg load capacity. The rail has four removable rubberised feet for a secure grip. The 360° rotating camera platform has a locking lever and an Arca quick release clamp that can be quickly rotated to four positions in 90° increments. The included NP-50 quick release plate has traction pads to prevent movement and an adjustable anti-twist flange to prevent unwanted movement between the plate and the camera body. The MP-180S can easily be placed on a tripod or tripod head from Leofoto. On this stable "base", the camera can be comfortably glided back and forth. If the crop and focus are right, the camera is fixed with pinpoint accuracy.
