The CF-02 lens base is an improved version of the original base for the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM (version 1 and 2). The base is made of robust aluminium and is Arca-Swiss compatible, so an additional quick-release plate is no longer required. The CF-02 also has a 1/4 inch thread, a 3/8 inch thread and a QD connection. The latter enables easy docking to the SP-01 strap system from Leofoto.
