Leofoto GW-01 Geared pointer

The Leofoto Gear Head GW-01 allows for precise positioning of the camera relative to the subject on three axes. Fine adjustments are made using the silver knobs. To quickly align the camera, the gear can be disengaged on each axis using the black, star-shaped handles. When a handle is engaged, the corresponding axis is freely movable. Releasing the handle automatically engages the gear for fine adjustments. The three spirit levels help achieve an exact horizontal alignment for each axis if desired. The scales for each axis allow for the reproduction of the respective angle, which is useful, for example, in macro photography when objects need to be photographed at the same angle. The head can be rotated 360°, tilted forward by 90°, or tilted backward by 30°. Additionally, further tilting of up to 90° is possible for a quick switch to portrait orientation.
