Product details

A carbon fiber gimbal with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio – ideal for wildlife observation, sports photography, telescopes, and other outdoor activities. The PG-3 tripod head weighs only 1.18 kg while balancing equipment of up to 30 kg. The gimbal allows for smooth panning and tilting with two independent controls. This enables the center of gravity of the camera equipment to be perfectly balanced, allowing for quick and easy navigation even with heavy lenses. The camera can be adjusted vertically by 100 mm on the gimbal head. For enhanced alignment of the camera on the horizontal axis, we additionally recommend the VR-250 lens support from our range. The included quick-release plate (Arca-compatible) features 1/4" and 3/8" mounting bolts and a removable, spring-loaded anti-twist pin. Since many long lenses have two tripod mounts (one for each size), connecting both mounts significantly improves stability and prevents potential twisting of the plate. For maximum stability, we also recommend combining it with our specific lens feet that have an integrated Arca-Swiss dovetail.
