Leofoto Fluid Video Head BV-30

The BV-30 is the highest quality fluid head designed for use with professional video equipment or heavy camera-lens combinations. The friction control on all axes ensures smooth camera movements, while the dampened mechanics allow for seamless operation for video recording, photography, or wildlife observation. The video head is made from hard-anodized aircraft aluminum, providing it with exceptional stability. The silver drag control knobs allow for stepless adjustment of resistance on both the vertical and horizontal axes. In addition to fluid damping on the horizontal and vertical axes, this video tilt head features an adjustable and switchable counterbalance spring with three settings, preventing the tripod head from tipping forward or backward uncontrollably and adapting the resistance in panning to the weight of the equipment. The long handle can be mounted on either side and can be fixed at an angle using the gear mechanism. With two integrated spirit levels, the BV-30 balances a weight of up to 20 kg. Thanks to the fluid technology, the mounted camera moves absolutely smoothly and without any jerks. The large control knob allows for a gently gliding, high-precision friction control. The front tilt covers a range from -90° to +90°, while the panoramic panning allows for a full 360°. The long Arca-Swiss quick release plate (with two screws) enables quick and secure camera alignment. The user-friendly panning handle (32 cm long) makes smooth subject tracking easy. It can be mounted on either the right or left side. Additionally, the quick-release lock allows for fast and convenient camera mounting.
