Housing Material

Advanced Focus System
Galileo swore by the power of the lens, Newton by that of the reflector. We simply combined both technologies – but perfected it like no one before. The result: Our patented Advanced Focus System (AFS), which allows for a seamless transition from homogeneous near light to sharply focused far light. The AFS has an efficiency that even impresses experts.

Rapid Focus
When focusing and defocusing a flashlight, the reflector moves relative to the lens. Conventional mechanisms achieve this by rotating the lamp head. However, we found this technique too slow and impractical, so we developed the Rapid Focus: a sliding mechanism that allows you to switch light modes lightning-fast – with one hand.

Temperature Control
Hard work keeps our lamps cool: A Ledlenser will never get too hot, no matter how much you use it. This protects the user from burns and the LED from overheating.
