The Zone 624 is a fully equipped zone mixer with 6 line and 2 microphone channels that can be assigned to one stereo and 3 mono zone outputs. The compact 3U rack unit also has inputs for an external emergency paging system and remote muting. With its extensive connection options, the Zone 624 is an extremely flexible control center for sound reinforcement systems in restaurants, clubs, hotels, fitness centers, and many other areas.

The two balanced microphone inputs have a common 3-band tone control, 12V phantom power, and talkover function. The talkover attenuation can be adjusted individually for all zone outputs on the rear panel. The 6 stereo input channels of the Zone 624 are equipped with gain controls, signal and peak LEDs, 45 mm faders, cue buttons, and RCA jacks. Channel 6 additionally has balanced jack inputs for the FOH signal.

The unit also has a switchable AUX input via 3.5 mm mini jack and a USB port that serves as stereo input and output (recording out), turning the Zone 624 into an external audio interface. The outputs of the master section are electronically balanced and provided via XLR sockets and terminal block connectors, while the stereo zone has additional unbalanced RCA connectors. The maximum output level can be preset individually for all zones.

The three mono outputs of the Zone 624 each have a 2-band tone control, a selectable 100 Hz high-pass filter, microphone mute switch, and a level meter; the source can be selected from inputs 1 to 6 or the stereo master signal. The stereo output is equipped with a 3-band EQ, talkover sensitivity control, and two LED chains for level indication. The Zone 624 also has a recording output and an adjustable PFL headphone connection for pre-listening.
