Developed in Germany, the UHF diversity wireless systems of the U300® series offer impressive audio performance. They achieve a range of 100 meters under ideal conditions and are available for operation in 5 frequency bands: 584 MHz - 608 MHz, 655 MHz - 679 MHz, 823 MHz - 832 MHz, 863 MHz - 865 MHz, or 470 MHz - 490 MHz, and 514 MHz - 542 MHz. Up to six U300® systems can be used simultaneously. For quick and hassle-free wireless connection, a convenient one-touch synchronization of transmitter and receiver via infrared is provided, and the noise gate with pilot tone ensures interference-free operation. The U300® transmitters have an output power of 10 mW and a runtime of 10 hours with two AA batteries. The frequency response of the handheld microphone ranges from 55 Hz to 16 kHz, and with a lower cutoff frequency of 25 Hz, the bodypack is also suitable for transmitting 5-string bass guitars with a low B string. The input level of the bodypack can be adjusted in three stages to accommodate both active and passive guitars and basses, and the practical standby position of the power switch allows for temporary muting. The U300® receiver features a bright LCD channel display, an LED chain to indicate audio signal strength, as well as a balanced XLR and an unbalanced 6.35 mm jack output. The jack output can be switched to instrument level for direct connection to guitar and bass amplifiers. The U300® series wireless systems have a fresh, modern look and are available as vocal sets with a receiver and a dynamic handheld microphone with a cardioid pattern, bodypack and headset, or bodypack and lavalier microphone. To change the handheld microphone characteristics, the interchangeable capsules from the U500® series can be used. U300® instrument sets come with a bodypack and clip-on microphone for wind instruments or a double-shielded, low-capacitance cable for guitars and basses.
