The design has also been elegantly streamlined: instead of a clip, the LAMY dialog cc features a roll stop that also serves as a visual accent. From the first to the last step, the pen is assembled by hand in the LAMY factory in Heidelberg. Thanks to a unique worldwide rotating mechanism, the 14 kt gold nib elegantly glides out from the interior of the casing. When the mechanism is turned off, a ball valve automatically slides in front of the opening to protect the nib from drying out.
