Stereo headphone amplifier with unbalanced inputs. The Lake People Phone-Amp G103-S MKII is a stereo headphone amplifier designed for professional use in studios or on stage. Unlike comparable models, the overall gain can be adjusted via internal jumpers to match the headphones being used. This technology allows the headphone amplifier to operate with nearly all known headphone impedances from 8 to 600 ohms. With its optimized, low-distortion and low-noise circuitry, the Lake People G103-S MKII meets the highest demands. Its compact dimensions provide optimal flexibility while delivering high performance. The design prioritizes operational safety against misuse and rough handling. The device is completely short-circuit proof. The G103-S MKII features internal filters that protect the connected headphones from overload due to inaudible low and high frequencies. The housing of the G103-S MKII is made of black anodized aluminum, ensuring high mechanical stability and resistance to harsh environmental influences. The high electrical conductivity of the surfaces results in excellent EMC properties. Power is supplied via a three-pole IEC/CEE socket and a corresponding "cold device" power cable with a Schuko plug. The device is designed for a mains voltage of 230V. The "POWER" switch is located on the front panel, and the powered-on state is indicated by a green LED beneath the "POWER" switch. Two short-circuit-proof transformers generate the internal operating voltages of approximately +/- 25V.
