The ERSA RDS 80 is microprocessor-controlled and offers, in addition to the direct selection of three programmable temperatures, other useful features such as a standby and auto power-off function, as well as a large, easily readable LC display. The powerful PTC heating element of the RT 80 soldering iron (up to 290 W heating power) ensures a quick attainment of the set temperature (approximately 40 seconds) with an adequate power reserve. The very high heating performance and the wide range of internally heated soldering tips from the 832/842 series allow for a very broad spectrum of applications.
