Kunbus RevPi Connect 5
Product details
The latest RevPi Connect generation, equipped with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, receives a significant performance boost. The quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 processor running at 2.4 GHz and up to 8 GB of DDR4X RAM enables use in entirely new industrial applications. Flexibility meets power: the RevPi Connect 5 combines the functions of an industrial PC, an industrial controller, an edge device, and IIoT gateways with its modular design and integrated interfaces – and can perform these tasks in parallel thanks to its performance. Like its predecessors, the RevPi Connect 5 is made of robust 24 V industrial hardware and has been developed according to the EN 61131-2 standard. Modular and flexible, it can be expanded with inputs, outputs, and gateways. Up to ten expansion modules can be connected to each of the two top-mounted PiBridge interfaces. Two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports ensure fast data transfer and low latency. Optionally, the RevPi Connect 5 can have up to two CAN FD interfaces. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are also available as options. For optimal reception, an external antenna can be connected via an SMA socket. Two USB-A ports with USB 3.2 Gen 1 allow for a data transfer speed of 5 gigabits per second. The Raspberry Pi Compute Modules are known as System on Modules (SoM) and have been specifically developed for use in industrial environments since 2015. The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 used in the RevPi Connect 5 is the latest version of the Compute Module, which was introduced at the end of November 2024.
