Product details
The QD series of quick disconnects from Koolance allows for a very simple and practical way to interrupt the coolant circuit by simply pressing down a metal ring. This is especially necessary in situations where hoses or water cooling components connected to them need to be frequently detached from the rest of the water cooling system. For example, think of an external radiator that you want to quickly and securely disconnect from your PC during transport to carry it separately. Or consider a water cooling component that you change often, whether out of a desire to experiment (CPU or chipset coolers) or for regular upgrades (VGA coolers).
Two QD2 quick disconnects made of nickel-plated brass are connected and separated (one male, one female), with Koolance developing valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are designed to ensure a certain degree of leak resistance. However, it should be noted that a hundred percent immediate sealing is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of liquid may escape.
This variant in the new revision features a straight male design with a G1/4-inch external thread.
