Kontronik Drive 410 electric motor (Kira 480-26 5.2:1 + KOBY 40LV)

The Drive 410 electric motor, consisting of the KIRA 480-26 with a gear ratio of 5.2:1 and the KOBY 40LV, is a powerful drive solution for various model aircraft. It is particularly well-suited for fast, small gliders as well as F3B and F3J models with a narrow fuselage. The motor provides excellent propulsion for hotliners weighing up to 1700 g and is compatible with lithium polymer batteries (LiPos) up to 2500 mAh. The performance parameters vary depending on the configuration: when using 5S batteries and a 13x10 inch propeller size, the motor draws about 44 A, while with 3S batteries and a 16x10 inch propeller it requires about 32 A, and with a 13x11 inch propeller, it needs about 30 A. With a shaft diameter of 3.17 mm and a weight of 140 g, the motor is compact and lightweight, making it an ideal choice for demanding model flyers.
