Kondor Blue Sony Burano Cage (Half Top Plate) (Raven Black)

The Sony Burano occupies a unique position on the market. That's why we wanted to complement and even extend its versatility with an equally dynamic, modular cage system. The KONDOR BLUE Sony BuranoCage Kit comes with two types of top plates, each offering versatile mounting options. The Half TopPlate is split from front to back, allowing the user to choose which plate they want in the front, use just one plate in either position or order several of the same plate. Both versions of the Half Top Plate are also compatible with the original Burano top handle. Each plate is firmly mounted to the top of the camera with two captive ⅜"-16" stainless steel bolts, and four additional locating pins hold the plate firmly in place. Both Half Top Plates also feature ARRI-style anti-twist brackets on the front at 60mm centres for attaching 15mm rails for battery plates or focus motors. The rods can be attached using either our anti-twist M12 rod holders or the ARRI Pin Rod Mount. The sensor level brand can also be moved to either side of the plate mounted on the front end of the camera. The cage keeps the left side of the camera completely open for the operator. On the right side of the Burano is the side NATO rail, which includes a series of brackets and a NATO rail with a spring-loaded safety pin. The side NATO rail merges seamlessly into a 60-tooth ARRI-style escutcheon. The side escutcheon plate moves the original Burano escutcheon forward by 25 mm, bringing the bracket and handles into a more favourable position. The plate is equipped with useful brackets for Mini Locks, MondoTies or other rigging accessories. To complete the system, the Side Ports Plate is attached to the right rear of the camera with two captive M3 screws. This tiny plate has a cold shoe and five other mounting options. This plate is ideal for wireless microphone receivers, wireless transmitters, etc.
