Additional safety is provided by the phone and emergency call function, which is activated by pressing the side button for a long time. The operation is intuitive via a touchscreen and a single control button.

The watch was specifically developed for the German market and can be started immediately without an app. Special emphasis was placed on good readability and large displays, making it suitable for seniors and less tech-savvy individuals. The Knauermann NEO 2 offers flexible data usage: the included German app is permanently free and includes all future updates. Basic health data can be displayed directly on the watch, making the app optional. However, the app is required for advanced functions such as EKG printing, medication reminders, and the use of custom watch faces.
