K&M 217 Reducer Thread 3/8" and 1/2" internal thread, 5/8" 27 Gg. external thread. The 217 reducer thread is used to adapt microphone clamps with a 5/8" thread (common in the US) to the 3/8" thread standard in Europe. It can be screwed into the microphone clamp up to the knurled stop edge and tightened securely. Internally, the reducer thread features the 3/8" thread standard in Europe, which fits nearly all microphone stands.
