With the introduction of lens adapters, photographers now have full control over the individuality of their equipment. They can combine cameras and lenses in any way to best meet their needs. While some camera manufacturers have developed their own adapters, these cannot be used across different brands of cameras and lenses. In contrast, KIPON has produced over 400 camera adapters. The KIPON Tilt L/R-NEX N adapter is designed to mount Leica R series lenses onto Sony NEX mirrorless cameras. Please note that when using the adapter for photography, only manual mode can be utilized, although the focus setting to infinity is available. This adapter features a 360° rotation function as well as a tilt function that can be tilted by a maximum of 10°, providing the user with greater control over composition.
With the tilt function, you can highlight specific subjects in a photo and selectively include or exclude objects. Furthermore, you are no longer limited to focusing on different planes. Instead, you can focus on specific objects that are at the same distance from the camera. The scope of photography is greatly expanded.
