This set was developed in 2001 for Hank Marvin. He still plays it today and loves the fat sound, especially from the bridge pickup, which never sounds shrill or thin. FV stands for Fat Vintage. These pickups produce Hank's more modern sound. However, fans of the old Shadows songs should also consider the Impersonator MV Set. It offers the classic vintage Hank Marvin sound in its purest form and is noiseless (zero hum) like the FV. It consists of the individual pickups AVn-63 (neck), AVn-63 (middle), and AVn-64 (bridge).
