The KCP3L16SD8/8 from Kingston is a SO-DDR3 memory module for various notebooks adhering to the DDR3-1600 standard, with a storage capacity of 8 GB. It is single-sided and equipped with eight 512-Mbit FBGA chips, providing a data density of 4096 Mbit per memory chip. The connection is made via a 204-pin interface, with the module being inserted vertically to the motherboard and lying parallel to it. Thanks to its low voltage design, the voltage can be reduced to as low as 1.28 V, which helps to lower the operating temperature.
