The Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 80 External SSD is Kingston's first innovative, operating system-independent, hardware-encrypted external SSD with a touchscreen for enhanced data protection. The VP80ES safeguards against brute-force attacks and BadUSB with digitally signed firmware. To protect against brute-force attacks, the drive automatically cryptodeletes after 15 incorrect attempts to enter the admin and user passwords. The drive is FIPS 197 certified with XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, utilizing a secure microprocessor certified under Common Criteria EAL5+ (CC EAL5+) and is TAA compliant.

With the user-friendly VP80ES, which unlocks as easily as a smartphone, files can be transferred via drag & drop while keeping the data secure. The Vault Privacy 80ES features an intuitive color touchscreen and offers multiple password options (admin and user) in numeric PIN or passphrase mode to ensure your data is protected.
