The Keychron K5 Pro has been given the popular design of the K5 and has been spiced up with a few of the premium features normally found on the Q series. Among other things, the keyboard is QMK & VIA compatible, which means that power users can programme all key or macro commands using VIA software.

The K5 Pro is ideal for travelling. In addition to its wireless Bluetooth and wired connection, the full-size 100% layout means it can be taken pretty much anywhere a full-size tablet can fit.

Designed to increase reliability, Gateron's low-profile 2.0 mechanical switch is the choice for a precise, smooth and reliable fingertip feel.

The K5 Pro offers a Mac layout while being compatible with Windows. You can even configure different key mappings for Mac and Windows devices. The VIA software is compatible with macOS, Windows and Linux. Included are keycaps for macOS and Windows (as well as additional ESC and Enter keys) so you can easily switch between operating systems.

You have your own typing preferences. That's why they offer the hot-swap option for the K5 Pro, which allows you to hot-swap any Gateron low-profile mechanical switch in seconds to customise your typing experience without soldering.

The K5 Pro is equipped with the unique double-shot PBT keycaps, which are made of durable, opaque PBT plastic with excellent oil resistance for long-term use and provide a premium typing feel.
