The Keychron K5 Pro features the popular design of the K5 and is equipped with several premium features typically found in the Q series. Among other things, the keyboard is QMK and VIA compatible, allowing power users to program all key or macro commands using VIA software.

The K5 Pro is excellent for on-the-go use. In addition to its wireless Bluetooth and wired connection, the full-size 100% layout makes it portable enough to fit anywhere a regular tablet can.

The Gateron mechanical low-profile 2.0 switch is designed to enhance reliability and is the choice for a precise, smooth, and dependable typing experience.

The K5 Pro offers a Mac layout while also being compatible with Windows. You can even configure different key layouts for Mac and Windows devices. The VIA software is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. Included are keycaps for macOS and Windows (as well as additional ESC and Enter keys) to allow for seamless switching between operating systems.

Since everyone has their own typing preferences, the K5 Pro offers a hot-swap option that lets you replace any Gateron mechanical low-profile switch in seconds without soldering, allowing you to customize your typing experience.

The K5 Pro is equipped with unique double-shot PBT keycaps made from durable, opaque PBT plastic with excellent oil resistance for long-term use, providing a premium typing feel.
