Product details

The Oil King switch is the linear switch in the Gateron family. It features a nylon PA66 top housing, a bottom housing made from a secret black ink material, and a POM plastic switch slider. The stem in the upper housing is extremely stable and nearly wobble-free. Compared to the Gateron CJs, it has a deeper patch sound.

The gold contact improves oxidation resistance and protects the switch from corrosion. The Oil King switch is equipped with a 20 mm long, black-coated spring. It requires 55 g of actuation force to press the key, with 80 g needed for the switch to bottom out. This provides a unique and super light typing feel.

The switch is pre-lubed to enhance its smoothness and to avoid unnecessary friction and issues.
