Description of the analog refractometer (sugar) ORA 80BB Brix 0-80%. The KERN ORA series models are universal, maintenance-free analog handheld refractometers. Their compact and robust design allows for easy, efficient, and long-lasting use in everyday life. The manual conversion effort is eliminated by several selectable scales, preventing user errors. These scales are specially developed, precisely calculated, and verified. They also feature very thin and clear lines. The optical system and prism cover are made from special materials that allow for low-tolerance measurements. All models are equipped with an eyepiece that offers simple and smooth adjustment for different vision strengths. Models marked with ATC have automatic temperature compensation, enabling accurate measurements at varying ambient temperatures (10 °C - 30 °C). Application area: sugar.
