Product details

The Kenko Variable ND-W filter with an 82 mm thread diameter offers precise light control for photography and videography applications. This neutral density filter features an adjustable density ranging from ND2.5 to ND128, corresponding to a light reduction of 2-7 stops, making it suitable for various lighting conditions. The innovative design minimizes the X-pattern typically seen with wide-angle lenses and extends the usable range even at 24 mm focal lengths. With a 90-degree rotation range, the filter frame allows for smooth adjustments from minimal to maximum density. An included adjustment knob facilitates precise control during video recordings. The Digital Multi-coat II surface treatment reduces surface reflection to 0.6-1%, effectively suppresses excessive stray light and ghosting, while maintaining high color reproduction accuracy. A water- and oil-repellent coating simplifies daily maintenance and cleaning. Made in Japan with Kenko's 65 years of optical expertise, this filter ensures consistent performance throughout its entire adjustment range. The 82 mm diameter fits various lens configurations and guarantees compatibility with standard filter systems. This single filter unit provides reliable light control without compromising image quality or color fidelity.
