Polyester iron-on film for covering model airplanes, roll size 200x64 cm.

The KAVAN iron-on film is made from a very thin and lightweight polyester polymer with high strength, coated with a layer of heat-activated adhesive containing pigments with excellent opacity. It is supplied in rolls with a width of 64 cm and a length of 2 m. The adhesive side is protected with a clear film.

The KAVAN iron-on film is resistant to model building fuels, glow plug fuel, ignition fuel, and gasoline.

The film thickness is 50-65 µm (including adhesive) and the surface weight is 63-70 g/m² (darker colors are slightly lighter than lighter ones).

The shrinkage of the film is 5-10%, evenly in all directions.

Ordinary model building irons and heat guns can be used for ironing, with a working temperature range of approximately 95-180°C. The optimal temperature for attaching to the structure is around 95-100°C, the temperature for stretching is about 130-140°C, and for heavily curved surfaces, it is 140-160°C.
