The camera release operates according to the settings on the camera: automatic focusing in autofocus mode or manual focusing, long exposure, time, and/or aperture pre-selection. The foot switch has a cast aluminum housing and non-slip rubber feet, along with three screw holes on the edge of the base plate for permanent attachment to a surface. The protection class IP54 (foot switch) ensures complete protection against contact, dust, and is splash-proof. The connection cable is 1.80 m long, with a connection socket for a 2.5 mm jack plug. Camera-specific release cables and a 2 m extension cable are available as optional accessories. Multiple extension cables can be used in succession.
