The multi-channel controller module (component of the overall system mTRON T) supports up to four PID control channels (cascadeable), each with two parameter sets and four setpoints. Self-optimization is achieved through oscillation or step response methods. This version features two universal inputs, two digital inputs, and digital outputs, as well as two relay outputs with normally open contacts (AC 230 V / 3 A). The digitized input values/states are available for further processing in the system. The digital and analog outputs can be controlled by the system (via the connection list or directly from the PLC) or directly from the module. The module operates autonomously, even in the event of a failure of the central unit or the higher-level system. This behavior is configurable. The power supply connection, the operating state of the module, and the states of the digital inputs and outputs are indicated by LEDs. For retrofitting or service purposes, the module can be easily pulled forward out of the housing. The housing, including the bus board, remains mounted on the DIN rail. The connection of inputs and outputs is made from the front via removable terminal blocks with push-in technology. The power supply is DC 24 V +25/-20%.
