The compact controller is part of a series of controllers that can be used universally and in various DIN formats for regulating temperature, pressure, or, for example, flow. It is suitable for front mounting. The controllers are characterized by a simple, clearly structured operation supported by text. Process values and parameters are displayed through two 18-segment LCD displays. In addition, the model features individual display elements for the switching positions of the outputs, as well as for manual operation, ramp function, and timer. The controller also includes a self-optimization function and a program controller. The limit monitoring function, digital control signals, and a service counter complete the capabilities of the controller. With the help of the setup program (including program editor and ST editor), the controller can be conveniently configured with a PC. During configuration via the USB interface, no separate power supply is required (USB-powered). Operation is carried out via a membrane keyboard with four buttons and can also be used in harsh environmental conditions due to the high protection class IP65. Depending on the hardware version, the device can be used as a two-point controller, three-point controller, three-point step controller, or continuous controller. The PID controller has a universal input, two relay outputs (normally open), one digital input, and one digital input/output. The power supply range is AC/DC 20 to 30 V, 48 to 63 Hz.
