The probe tube with dimensions of 4.0 x 100 mm is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and has a bevelled measuring tip with a 45° angle. The straight handle is made of PEEK and withstands temperatures up to +260 °C. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for cooking, simmering and baking processes. Other areas of application are autoclaves and sterilisers. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in three-wire circuit and for temperatures from -50 to +260 °C.
