Product details
This is the new Arduino-compatible Uno R3 DIP from Joy-IT. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the Uno now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the Atmega8U2 chip. This allows for faster transmission rates and the use of more memory. No drivers are required for Linux or Mac (inf file for Windows included in the Arduino IDE). Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple I/O board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. The Arduino can be used to develop standalone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g., Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently available for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux). The controller uses the DIP MEGA328P chip and features A6/A7 ports. The Uno R3 DIP also has SDA and SCL pins in addition to the AREF. Furthermore, there are two new pins located near the reset pin. One of these is the IOREF, which can adjust the voltage on the board.
