The Power-Ion battery packs are specialized batteries designed to power the receiver system and servos in models. The main advantages of Power-Ion batteries include high mechanical durability due to their metal cell cups and long lifespan. No balancer is required for their operation and charging, and in the event of a short circuit with a current exceeding 150 A, a short circuit protection is activated. Overcharge protection is triggered when the charging voltage exceeds 5 V per cell. The batteries are functional even at very low or very high temperatures (from -10 to +60 °C). Each Power-Ion battery pack is equipped with a two-wire cable with a JR connector and a two-wire line with an MPX connector for connection. For higher currents, we recommend connecting the receiver system via the MPX connector and using the JR connector as the charging port. Both cables are of the same length. The Power-Ion battery packs come in a plastic mounting frame, where the batteries are secured with the included Velcro straps. This mounting frame is vibration-protected and is screwed into the model using rubber bushings. Insert the included brass bushings into the rubber elements so that the side with the mounting surface faces the mounting area. This prevents the rubber elements from being compressed.
