Product details
Easy connection and optimal adaptation for Avaya one-X phones. The Jabra GN1216 connection cable has been specifically designed for Avaya one-X telephone systems to provide optimal voice and sound transmission when used with wired Jabra headsets. The new Avaya one-X phones - currently the 96xx, 16xx, and 17xx series - are being introduced across all Avaya telephone platforms. These Avaya phones feature special interfaces with integrated AGC, allowing for volume control. This can result in the headset microphone volume being reduced too much, making the caller difficult to hear, or the microphone volume being transmitted too loudly. While wireless headset solutions with telephone configurations A or amplifiers like the Jabra GN8000 and GN8210 optimally transmit voice and sound in the headset, wired headsets require the GN1216 connection cable. The Jabra GN1216 may increase or decrease the transmission volume to perfectly reproduce the voice. The cable is simply connected to the Avaya phone, and the Jabra headset is connected to the other end of the cable using the GN Quick Disconnect (QD) plug. According to an accompanying table, the appropriate setting for the headset is made on the connection cable. This easy connection transforms the phone call into a complete sound experience immediately.
