Cleaning robots promise that you will never have to vacuum or mop again. Stiftung Warentest regularly tests what the robots can do on hard floors or carpets, how thoroughly they mop and what they are good at in practice. There are many good models, but the price differences are large: Between 160 and 1400 euros.
The robot vacuum and suction station are relatively noisy. The iRobot recognises steps well and turns around immediately. If a room is clean, doorsteps up to 2 cm high do not prevent it from continuing its work. Inaccurate navigation in poor lighting conditions.
... The Roomba j7+'s suction performance is impressive: It performed slightly better than the Roborock S6 MaxV on both hard floors and carpet. However, it is also a little louder. In terms of room coverage and orientation, it is on a comparable level, but bumps into furniture more often and a little harder...
