Its brushless design is nearly maintenance-free and uses counter-rotating rubber brushes to crush and lift larger debris. The airflow accelerator and suction power provide maximum suction and cleaning efficiency. The Turbo Carpet Mode increases the suction power of the Roomba 980 on carpets and rugs, delivering up to ten times more suction power.

The free iRobot HOME app for your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet allows you to create a cleaning schedule. You can use your Wi-Fi to send the robot on its cleaning journey from anywhere. The app also offers settings options and statistics on cleaning performance and the condition of your Roomba.
