The IOGEAR 2x4 USB Switch is a USB 2.0 peripheral sharing switch that allows two computers to share up to four USB devices such as a keyboard, mouse, printer, and external hard drives.

This device eliminates the cost of multiple sets of USB devices for each computer. It also reduces cable clutter in your workspace and simplifies switching between computers. Switching from one computer to another is done easily with the push of a button, and an LED indicator shows the selected computer. You can also charge and sync your mobile devices through this device with the computer.

This device is USB 2.0 compliant with a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps and is hot-plug capable like most USB devices. It features overcurrent protection to prevent damage to your devices from sudden power changes in the environment.

By connecting a keyboard and mouse to this device, you can use it as a mini USB dock to control two laptops and allow them to share other USB devices.

The molded cable design for the computer side eliminates the need for additional USB cables, making on-site installation quick and easy.
