Product details

The extended power loss protection prepares the SSD for an unexpected power loss by minimizing the amount of data relayed through temporary buffers. It utilizes an integrated power loss protection capacity to provide the SSD firmware with sufficient energy to move data from the transmission buffer and other buffers into the NAND, thereby protecting system and user data. Hardware encryption is a data encryption that occurs at the drive level. This secures the data stored on the drive from unwanted intrusion. Temperature monitoring and logging use an internal temperature sensor to monitor and log air circulation and temperature within the device. The logged results can be accessed via the SMART command.
