Product details

The PoE tester is designed to test PoE/PoE+ connections according to the IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards with a compliant voltage of 37-57V. Other standards, such as telephone/ISDN voltages, are not supported. Connect the RJ45 socket of the PoE tester with the included short cable; connect the other end of the cable to the RJ45 socket you want to test. The following display options are available:

1. The Endspan LED lights up: There is a PoE voltage present on pins 1, 2, 3, 6 in Endspan mode at the socket.
2. The Midspan LED lights up: There is a PoE voltage present on pins 4, 5, 7, 8 in Midspan mode at the socket.
3. No LED lights up: The tested RJ45 socket does not provide PoE voltage.
