SAS connection cable, Mini SAS SFF8087 (36pin) to 4x SATA, "Crossover" pinout (forward breakout, OCF), for connecting drives or backplanes to host controllers with an SFF8087 connector. Important note: Please pay attention to the pinout of this cable! Depending on the configuration of the existing devices, you may need one of the cables 27620 or 27620A with a "straight" 1:1 pinout (reverse, OCR) instead. Please check with the respective device manufacturers in advance. A functioning connection will only be established when the correct pinout is used. (Normal usage: SAS controller → SATA drives == forward breakout // SATA controller → SAS backplane == reverse breakout).
