This switch is a 2-port USB cable KVM switch with two permanently integrated KVM cables and a QuickSwitch button for remote control via an additional cable. Additionally, the switch features audio and microphone switching capabilities to utilize multimedia applications from both PCs. You can access, control, boot, and restart two multimedia computers using a USB keyboard, mouse, monitor, and speakers/microphone. On Windows and Mac platforms, the switch provides innovative, user-friendly KVM switch software—a small Windows/Mac client application that supports KVM switching operations such as selecting PCs and programming hotkey sequences, auto-scanning, programming the auto-scan delay time, as well as independent and simultaneous audio and PC switching. The USB cable KVM switch offers USB 2.0 interface technology for plug and play and hot-plug. In addition to a mouse or keyboard, other high-speed USB devices, such as a USB 2.0 hub, can be connected to the two USB 2.0 ports. Please note: The InLine KVM switches are designed for applications in office and home office environments, as well as for monitoring and controlling multiple computers from a single workstation. However, the KVM switches are not suitable for gaming accessories such as mice and keyboards with programmable special keys. Gaming monitors with high refresh rates starting from 120 Hz are also not supported. The hotkey function for the keyboard only works on the designated console USB port; when connected through the USB hub ports, hotkey control is not possible.
