IK Multimedia AXE I/O

The IK Multimedia AXE I/O is an audio interface for Windows and Mac featuring two Hi-Z guitar inputs (including a switch for line and microphone levels), two combined XLR/line inputs for microphones (including phantom power), and five outputs. Its standout features are specifically designed for guitarists. A switch on the front allows you to toggle the input circuit from PURE to JFET, enabling a range from transparent to tube-distorted sound. The patented Z-Tone circuit is also designed to interact with the guitar pickup, providing a massive variety of tones. Additionally, there is a fifth (amp) output tailored for guitarists, which allows for classic reamping. With this feature set, it’s no surprise that the interface works seamlessly with the proprietary software AmpliTube 4 Deluxe. On the front of the interface, there is a preset knob that can switch the amp patches in the software. The two control inputs of the AXE I/O also allow for expression pedals to be connected, which communicate with the software. A MIDI I/O completes the package.
